Every project is unique, so my pricing is based on a clear, detailed breakdown of the specific scope of work, materials, and labor required. I believe in complete transparency, so I provide a thorough estimate upfront after evaluating the project on-site. If any unexpected issues or structural surprises arise during the build, I'm always flexible—we'll communicate openly, discuss the options together, and figure out the best and most cost-effective way forward before making any changes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process starts with visiting the site to evaluate the project, check for any potential concerns, and get a clear feel for the scope and the client's budget. Once I have all that information, I take it back and put together a detailed, professional estimate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With a background that combines architecture, hands-on construction, and 28 years of professional machining, I bring a unique mix of design knowledge, craftsmanship, and attention to detail to every project. I studied Architecture at Ricks College, earning an Associate Degree, and have gained hands-on experience in many areas of construction, including: 🏠 House Moving – 1 year 🧱 Concrete Forming & Pouring – 3 years 🔨 Framing & Remodeling – 4 years, including custom homes, tract homes, apartments, and remodels ✏️ Home Design & Drafting – A long-time hobby and passion ⚙️ Professional Machinist – 28 years of experience My experience has taught me the importance of quality workmanship, precision, problem-solving, and doing things right the first time. I enjoy taking a project from an idea on paper to something real that people can see, use, and be proud of. Whether it’s a new build, remodel, repair, or custom project, I bring years of experience and a hands-on approach to the job.
