Angela is fun-loving and happy to help whoever walks in her door and wants to learn to sing. Singing is more complicated than it seems, and she has had a lot of experience in teaching and performing on many different levels. Her experience ranges from singing a solo with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Utah Symphony, to uplifting people in homes who need a pick-me up. She has performed in commercials, back-up vocals for video games and tv shows. She has done leads in operas and musicals. She has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Vocal Performance. But most of all, she loves her students and wants them to be the best they can be! Everyone can sing! That is her motto. Angela LOVES helping people find their voice. It is such a rewarding job. Singing is such a fun outlet for people, and when they finally feel like they sound good, they just want to perform and sing more. It helps people forget about life for a minute, and that's what music is all about. It's about enhancing life.

Angela is a bubbly and well-versed vocal teacher. She can use imagery, mechanical and technical language to help you understand what she is getting at for breath support. She has encouraged me and set me up with notes for my individual practice through the week and has me excited about working and building up for control and ease in my voice. I had no problem stepping into her house studio. It had a big window and the front room was the piano practice room.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Voice Lessons: $25 per 30 min lesson Violin and Piano Lessons: $20 per 30 min lesson. I'm pretty flexible to offer discounts for extenuating circumstances, or offer every-other-week lessons.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Potential student will usually contact me by text or phone call. We set up a time to meet and talk about goals, or we just do the first lesson. The student then decides if it's something they want to stick with.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors in Music: Vocal Performance from Utah State University. Masters in Music: Vocal Performance from Brigham Young University.
