FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All the time, and so do my technicians. Every computer is so different, being a computer tech, you really don't know what you are going to see at your next job. Especially with viruses, criminals are always coming up with new ways to infect your PC without your consent, each time they come up with something new, we have to come up with something new to stay in the game. Everyday is a learning experience. On top of that, our technicians are constantly working towards and obtaining more certifications and more training.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My name is Mike Lierman, I am founder and owner of Invise Solutions. I've been working with computers ever since I was 6. My dad gave me my first computer then; he told me he wasn't going to fix it for me. Through trial and error and experience I broke and fixed my own computer, many times. I enjoyed a challenge. At the age of 15, I had a dream to build up my own business, I wanted to make a difference, but I didn't want to work for someone else. 1 year later, and still in high school, but dual-enrolled at Utah Valley University, I started Invise Solutions Computer Repair. To this day, we are still providing computer services for Utah and Salt Lake Counties.
