MJ came in clutch for us in a VERY short amount of time. I needed a beam added for an appraisal I had coming up and he was there the very next day to measure and start the work. Great work, great price, and best of all he communicates. Would hire him again for sure.

MJ was great to work with on getting crown molding installed on my cabinets. There was a slight problem on the finished product, but he corrected it and made it look perfect. I'd recommend MJ for your project.

We LOVED working with Mike on our fireplace remodel. He totally captured our vision, made some expert recommendations, was responsive and communicative, and great to work with. Felt totally comfortable having him in our home. His work completely transformed our living room into the current century. We did a shiplap surround on an old stone fireplace, a concrete bench, and a new beam. He even offered to hang our mirror for us and came back to do some final fit and finish. Highly recommend MJ Design!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Job site evaluation to make sure the scope of work is clearly communicated and expectations are realistic and an accurate timeline can be established.
50% deposit required before work commenced and balance due upon completion. This helps cover any materials that are needed and also protects us both to ensure the scope of work is completed and both of us are happy
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 30 years of experience.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father was a very skilled craftsman and master of many trades. I learned from him and was taught to be detailed and take pride in my work.
