FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
my pricing system is not complicated, I generally charge around 40.00 per half hour, 60.00 an hour. I feel that reasonable, considering I always give more than I get and I always have very happy kids and parents when I leave. I make it my policy to insure that.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always learning new balloon figures to make. I started out with one balloon training book and now I have about seven, all with many different things in them. I have learned some magic and juggling and my new goal is to learn to ride a unicycle. And I always want to be funnier and more entertaining.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I once saw a book in a store in Illinois all about balloon twisting and it interested me so I bought it and started studying up on it. I did my first clown job, as I call it, and I was hooked. I taught myself to make one balloon figure at a time and kept practicing until I got it right, then moved on to the next. I popped lots of balloons along the way!
