I teach students of every level from brand new beginner through collegiate. My students progress well and are known for exceptional technic and musicianship! Students are taught to be excellent sight readers, with an understanding of music theory. Local students have the opportunity to participate in UMTA, Federation and USU Conservatory events as wanted. Andrea Bailey is the very best piano teacher ever! She taught my children piano until her studio moved, and we had to try and find a replacement. (Sadly, we never were able to find someone even close to comparable). She is passionate about music, and her love for piano is contagious. As a teacher, she is professional and kind and inspiring, a rare combination. Piano lessons with her teach the joy of music, and my children still look back on their time in her studio as a happy memory.

Moving away from your adorable kids was tough! I still have some artwork they made me. We are in Logan to stay now but I have taught in SLC, Provo, Maryland, Boise and now Logan and I miss students I had to move from in all those places.

20% discount for home-school or adult students able to come during the traditional public school hours. Sibling discounts may also be available.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance from BYU, a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Pedagogy from the U of U, 20+ years of teaching experience, and I am a NCTM (Nationally Certified Teacher of Music by MTNA). I have had leadership positions in the Utah Music Teachers Association and the Federation of Music Clubs. I am also a professional accompanist.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My grandmother was a pianist and one of my best friends as I became an adult. Though she was never my teacher she always helped me, and took me to concerts often.
