Dan was great! Very responsive and followed up the night before to make sure everything was still on track. He was super easy to work with and very friendly. He framed a room in our basement very quickly and the work quality was great. Very fair with pricing too. I would definitely use Dan again, he was awesome!

I had Dan at Mountainside builders refresh the front of my house. The initial walk through and subsequent quote was quick and hassle free. His price was what I would expect to pay for quality work. He insisted on using really good materials including cedar for exterior trim.
A downside downside for some is that he doesn’t make a lot of recommendations or give multiple different options. This was fine for me as I knew how I wanted things to look and had pictures of similar work I’d gathered on Houzz and Pinterest.
He installed 3 new pillars, removed shutters and old porch railing, installed a window, and did new trim and weather proofing around 4 windows and garage.
We were beyond thrilled with the way it turned out as Dan is a craftsman that is meticulous in every detail. Our house was particularly challenging because it was built in the 1950s and we were adding a lot of new details and features into an existing fascia. I would highly recommend Dan at Mountainside builders.

Dan was great to work with. He stayed within my budget, researched what we would need for the project in order to make it work with what I wanted. I was very pleased with him and look forward to working with him again in the future. He’s not like other contractors that just take your money your deposit and run. He was very responsive and answered everything in a timely matter.

I meet with a costumer inspect the job i can give a informal estimate then once we agree to move forward i can give a bid or we con proceed to work hourly which ever works best.

I have a degree in architecture/ engineering and i have been a carpenter for 20+ years
