FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to ask a lot of questions at the beginning stages, so that I can deliver the result the client is looking for. Every project or lesson is different, of course, so it's important for me to gather as much information as possible. This prevents any snags or hangups midway during the process. I also keep in close communication during the project span so that the client doesn't feel left in the dark. If they have any questions or concerns they can come straight to me, at pretty much any hour. I'm one of those people who check their email obsessively. Finally, a project or lesson just doesn't feel complete to me unless I make sure all goals and plans are met or addressed as closely as possible. It's not done until the customer can walk away happy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's degree in Digital Media from Utah Valley University. While there I focused on digital illustration and concept art, mostly for video game design. I'm also a PMA International certified Photographic Consultant. The bulk of my experience lies in digital post-processing and prepress (aka printing), but I spent a year and a half working with wet-process photo printing as well.
