- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every quote is free, upfront, and has no hidden fees — what we quote is what you pay. Pricing depends on the number of windows, the size and height of your home, and the condition of the glass, which is why we don't post a flat rate that ends up being wrong for your house. Where you can save: our recurring service plans take 10% off (2x/year), 15% off (3x/year), or 20% off (quarterly), and they include screens, tracks, and sills, hard water removal, Rain-X treatment, and our 7-day rain guarantee. Bundling services on the same visit — windows plus gutters, or windows plus solar panels — also lowers your total, since we're already on site. We'll always tell you honestly if a service isn't worth it for your situation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Free quote, fast. Tell us about your home and what you need cleaned. We respond in minutes, not days, and give you a clear, itemized price with no pressure. Pick your service. One-time cleaning, or save with a recurring plan. We'll walk you through what actually makes sense for your home — we're not going to upsell you into something you don't need. We show up on time, fully equipped. Our crew arrives when we said we would, protects your home and landscaping, and works efficiently. You don't need to be home if that's easier for you. We walk it with you. Before we leave, we make sure you're happy. If something isn't right, we fix it on the spot. We stand behind it. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started Crystal Cleaning while I was a student at Utah State University, and I've spent the years since learning this trade hands-on across thousands of Northern Utah homes. Our team is trained on professional-grade equipment — deionized water-fed pole systems, which is what allows us to clean upper-story windows and solar panels safely from the ground without ladders on your roof. We're also trained in proper hard water stain removal, which is a genuinely different skill than regular window cleaning; Utah's mineral-heavy water etches glass, and using the wrong approach makes it permanently worse. Every technician is trained on safety procedures and on protecting your home — we're fully licensed and insured, and we treat your property like it's our own.
