My name is Marcos Barboza, and I have been teaching Portuguese as a foreign language in the United States since 2011. Over the years, I have worked with students of all ages and levels, helping them build confidence and achieve real progress in speaking Portuguese. My teaching approach is practical, engaging, and focused on real-life communication. I hold three master’s degrees, including one with a major in Foreign Language Education, with a focus on teaching Portuguese as a foreign language. This academic background allows me to combine effective teaching strategies with a deep understanding of how students learn a new language. In addition to my academic experience, I am the founder and director of Coruja Academy Languages, where I have helped hundreds of students learn Portuguese through personalized and structured lessons.
