When first visiting the work site to give me a quote Alan Barben of American Legacy Contracting noted details about the project that no one else I had quote the project noticed. His quote was the highest but his attention to detail, skill, knowledge and professionalism convinced me his quote was the most accurate and the others would end up either doing cheap work, or going over-estimate. When I was finally ready for the project American Legacy's schedule was full, but they somehow fit me in and got the job done quickly and well. And his estimate was accurate.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Estimates are free, but we charge a minimum of $85 if we repair something in your home when we get there. For bigger projects, I will send you an itemized estimate for the entire project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We generally meet with them and discuss the project and make sure we know the details so that we all know what is wanted before we start.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an associates degree an applied science degree and a bachelors degree along with a professional license that requires continuing education every 2 years.
