Chef Calli didn’t just cook us dinner, she orchestrated a four-course symphony in the middle of a surprise-party inception scheme. We had two surprise guests. One thought she was helping set up a surprise party for the other, who had no idea anyone was being surprised. Timing had to be down to the minute, expectations had to be managed. And we wanted the food to be flawless. No pressure!
Calli nailed it. The smoked Caesar came out like it had been kissed by the gods of fire and umami. The spicy penne vodka walked the perfect line between "I feel alive" and "where is my water glass?" The ribeye was so tender and flavorful it could've proposed marriage and at least two of us would’ve said yes. And the crème brûlée was, frankly, rude. It had no business being that good.
She handled every curveball (and there were plenty) with total grace and a calm that said, "Yeah, not a problem!" If you need someone to elevate your gathering, whether it’s a classy dinner or a psychological experiment in surprise-party misdirection—Chef Calli is it.
10/10 would confuse my friends and eat fancy again.

This is the first time I have booked a "personalchef" for an event, but it won't be the last! Callie was great-- responded immediately, and listened carefully to what I wanted for a dinner party for our daughter's graduation. She provided great suggestions and several menu options that met our needs and budget. She arrived on time, was friendly with all of us, coped with the very small kitchen in our vacation rental, and left it sparkling clean. The food was just amazingly delicious, too! Everyone was super impressed. I would definitely hire her again for other events.

Chef Calli was everything we hoped and more. She was very communicative leading up to our event and took special care to ensure our various diet needs were met. She created a list of options that were difficult to narrow down because all sounded so good! With our final menu set, she didn't hesitate when we requested to later add appetizers. At our event, Calli and her team were the personification of "don't worry, we've got it covered." I only heard positive comments about coordinating and set-up and then we began to catch the wonderful wafting smells from the kitchen. Quite the teaser as we all had to make it through the ceremony first. Dinner was SO GOOD - it is difficult to explain. We've had some epic cuisine all around the US and world and we will be remembering this meal for years to come. So many compliments were flying from our guests, along with the proof of so many clean plates. Our family style meal was intimate and perfect for the type of night we hoped for with our 30 closest friends and family. The leftovers were viciously attacked the next morning...somehow everything tasted just as good straight from the refrigerator. Our only regret is that the night had to end and that it is unknown when we might next get to eat a meal by Calli. I cannot give enough praise of this experience. We are so grateful and so blown away by her professionalism and talent. I will dream of the roasted calabrian chile cauliflower!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Consultation call where we talk through the details of your event. Then I will send sample menus based on our call, then a proposal when you’ve decided on a sample menu. Once we have finalized all the details I’ll send an invoice and we can book!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have been catering for 10+ years and have worked with many clients! I’ve done everything from the casual brunch to multi course tasting menus. I have a lot of experience as a travel chef as well!
