I felt that I had learned a lot in the 1/2 hr. She was relaxed and made it easy for me to pick up on things. She didn’t mind that I was much older than she was. That made me feel good.

Eliza is a treasured part of my week with her piano lesson. She treats me as an individual, learning at the age of 56. We have meet once a week for a few months and I have made progress I'm proud of. I would reccomend her dynamic skills of teaching to anyone.

Working with Eliza was an incredible experience. Eliza has a unique teaching style that really helped me to want to grow on my own rather than needing hand-fed teaching sessions and nothing more. That has been a hallmark of many of the best teachers I have had. Not only did I learn a ton about music theory and performance, I felt like I connected with the music inside myself and began to learn how to express it. I never felt like I was just a student, I felt like a musician, being taught by another. Eliza also really helped me to see results in some forms of music that I was not as particularly familiar with, specifically jazz and improv. Her teaching style is clear and powerful, keeping a student engaged while not sacrificing the quality of information or material. A perfect teacher for me, I saw results when I followed her instructions, being able to join a musical ensemble that had previously denied me. It was a rewarding experience to learn from her
