Introduction: I’m a commercial and portrait photographer based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
I first picked up a camera in 2008. Over the years I’ve gained experience photographing all kinds of subjects, sports, landscapes, adventure, food, product, but my specialty is photographing people.
In my personal work I strive to portray my subjects as heroes and create portraits with emotion, that people connect with.
In my commercial work I aim to bring that same connection to the clients I work with. Creating stills and video content that their customers can relate to. I start every business relationship by discussing my clients goals and struggles and we make a plan for media that helps connect them with their customers, build trust, and increase sales.

Nick’s photos are awesome! He’s taken some fantastic shots at Ute CrossFit and during our CrossFit competitions. He also really stays on top of getting a lot of high quality photos out to his clients quickly. Super fun guy to work with – 10/10 recommend!

I have had outdoor family sessions as well as faceshots with Nick Roush. We could not be happier with the excellent result. He did a great job with the light, coordination, managing my kids and dog and made everything so easy and fun!
Also, he is a supporter for philantropic causes. The photograph he donated for the American Liver Foundation last year was beautiful and the auction bidding was a success.
