M.K. reminded me of my experience at the 2002 Winter Olympics. Many guest nations hosted food halls downtown in whatever space was available. I loved getting food that was different and better than the typical business lunch, even if the space was just getting the job done.At Marcato, I sat at a picnic table with a view of the silver-tentacled HVAC system lording over the cooks. True this isn't all that fancy, but once I tried their stromboli masterpiece I honestly forgot about my surroundings.Each of my five family members chose a different filling and each of us was smiling. The more daring choices got the biggest reactions (my food critic son exclaimed 'this shouldn't work, but it does!!"). Whatever type you choose, you'll enjoy a magical crust-casing that was phenomenal.The last time I was this pleased at a local eatery was the grand opening of the very first R&R barbeque, and I wouldn't be surprised if Marcato Kitchen one day sees similar success.

It’s true, Marcato Kitchen is not currently operating at a fancy building, in fact it’s not even meant for a restaurant but I saw this shared commissary kitchen as a unique way to start. Thank you for your review and we are so happy that you and your family were pleased.
