hope you are doing well. I wanted to clarify a few points regarding the project and also express my honest concern about the review. First, this is not a “small business” in the sense of lack of professionalism — we operate with clear procedures, experience, and standards on every job, regardless of size. Even small projects are treated with full attention and responsibility. As you know, you selected the marble pieces at the store, and on site you again reviewed the layout and requested changes, including the removal and replacement of several pieces. In total, six pieces were adjusted — two due to fitting adjustments and four at your request due to preference regarding natural color variation. As discussed, natural marble always has variation in tone and pattern, and this is part of the material’s natural characteristics. Because of the additional changes requested on site, the job required significantly more time than originally planned — about 4 hours instead of the estimated 2 hours. For that reason, a small additional charge of $20 was discussed for the extra work and time involved. I want to be transparent: I always try to accommodate reasonable requests during a project, even when it requires more time and effort. My priority is to leave the customer satisfied, and I believed we were able to do that, especially since everything remained respectful during the process, including your husband’s communication with my employee. That is why I was honestly surprised by the review, especially given that there was no conflict during the job and all requests were handled on site. If there is something specific that you feel was not handled correctly, I am open to understanding it. Otherwise, I would sincerely appreciate if you could reconsider the rating based on the full context of the work performed. I wish you all the best moving forward.
