Introduction: Hi I’m Zack Pavel! I am new to Thumbtack, but a seasoned trainer and nutritionist with a decade of experience! I create client tailored Fitness and Nutrition programs that are highly educational, enjoyable, and effective! My goal is to continually foster a meaningful connection through attentive listening and understanding your healthy lifestyle needs and goals. I ensure all movements during training are executed safely and effectively to have your fittest self imaginable become a reality! Sound Nutrition guidelines will always be provided to some degree, but a supplemental package is ideal and highly recommended for exacting an alignment with your fitness objectives. Yoga is another passion that I share with clients which will facilitate a high degree of mobility, flexibility, and specific strength adaptations. I offer both private and group yoga instruction. Healthy Lifestyle guidelines are another critically important factor I will address to create a well-rounded approach for drastic wellness and performance improvements. I will effectively design and monitor all these facets of health which translate to a greater sense of vitality and well-being! When I came to Zack I was 25lbs overweight and felt stuck doing the same exercises without direction. Zack was a huge help in turning my life around. He helped me rehab a chronic dislocated shoulder and completely blew my mind with what I was capable of. His positive, fun-spirited attitude was addictive and made it easy to show up ready for our sessions. Zack opened my mind to the world of functional fitness. My favorite exercises were with Olympic rings, parallel bars, kettlebells, and bodyweight training. I feel completely evolved thanks to Zack. My mindset quickly shifted to "I can't wait to challenge my body today because it makes me feel amazing." Every day I ask myself "What am I going to accomplish today?" It's an amazing way to live, and I thank Zack dearly for helping steer me in the right direction. I reached out to Zack initially to lose weight in advance of my wedding which was around 7 months away. But what I learned was a new approach to getting fit and staying fit. Every session was new and different and most importantly practical. I travel quite a bit with work, so being able to take what I learned from my sessions and apply them to a busy schedule, in addition be able to adapt the exercises for a hotel room was extremely valuable. His positive attitude was just as valuable as the workouts. At the end of the day, Zack truly motivated me and gave me the tools I needed to create and maintain a healthier lifestyle. He helped me get out of the cycle of ineffective workouts and not seeing any results. I look forward to seeing continued success with my workouts and the ripple effects through the rest of my life from eating healthier to feeling confident in everything I do.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    My base rate is slightly more expensive because you will also benefit from my expertise in nutrition while I track your intake throughout the process. I do incentivize clients with discounts on packages based on frequency (sessions per week) and duration of a commitment (3 month, 6 month, etc). Commute times to a clients home/gym will be a bit more expensive.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I always email intake forms for both nutrition and training to gather pertinent information on background, experience, and preferences.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I hold a Master's degree in Nutrition Education from American University I hold certifications through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), the industry gold standard. CPT - Certified Personal Trainer PES - Performance Enhancement Specialist I am also a Certified Yoga Instructor through CorePower Yoga
