I hired Nicolae and Peak Performance Builders for a sizable project at my home. I emptied 90% of my home and had the entire interior painted, and floors installed in much of my main floor.
The company, the owner, and the crew was exemplary. Nicolae was in good communication and the job came in on time and on budget. I am extremely pleased with the work and recommend this company wholeheartedly.

I hired Nicolae to replace some dated fascia on the exterior of my home. I am so happy with the finished product. Nicolae is smart and creative and helped me come up with a crown moulding profile that would look good on my traditional style home. His attention to detail is spot on as he made sure every piece was sealed and sloped perfectly so that we wouldn’t get any water leaks from rain and snow. He showed up on time every day, worked in 100 degree heat, and finished the project when he said we would. I will definitely be reaching out to him again for future projects and I would highly recommend him.

Hiring anyone to come into your home to do a project is risky business now days. Lately it seems that workmanship has reached new lows in the market. Handy-men or professionals often misrepresent themselves or overestimate their abilities. Some are outright fraudulent. Often, it is a babysitting job to look after them to make sure they are doing what they promised in their contract.
That is not the case with Peak Performance Builders. We have finally found a company we can trust! Nicolae and his crew came to our house to patch some vinyl and install baseboards in our laundry room. I found Nicolae by calling Home Depot. He was on a sight called Thumbtack. He was the first one to respond to the job and he came to our home to measure the project and give us a bid. He was ready to do the work the next day. He was prompt, courteous, and clean-cut. His machinery is top of the line and his equipment is all well organized.
The project was completed in one day. There was no mess for me to clean up (this was not the case with the previous Handy Man service) and he went above and beyond the contract to do extra work that he didn't charge us for. Example: When he put the washer and dryer back after painting the baseboard, he noticed a small leak in one of the hoses. He took it upon himself to go to Home Depot, get the part, and install it...no charge for labor. He also screwed on outlet plates that I hadn't gotten around to after the previous job. He was meticulous in his work.
He took such good care of us. The project is beautiful! We are so happy to have someone we can count on to do any type of work in our home. We are going to have him come out soon to give us a bid on putting sheetrock in our garage.
He and his partner didn't take time out for lunch. I found out later that it was his birthday and he wanted to finish everything up so he could spend time with his wife and two small children for his party!

We just had a small wall and double doors installed to create a new bedroom and office out of an awkward doorless space in our home. The result is perfect, you’d never know it wasn't original to the home. Incredibly high quality work. Nicolae and his team were incredibly professional, always showed up on time, and took extra care to protect our furniture and clean up the workspace. Highly recommend.
