Introduction: The purpose of Elevation Goalkeeper Academy (EGKA) is to provide year-round training opportunities to goalkeepers of all levels in an effort to create an optimal environment which fosters individual development. EGKA training programs allow for the 4 main components of soccer qualities of the goalkeeper (technical, tactical, physical, and psychological) to be enhanced and refined through specialized, challenging, and age-appropriate training. The EGKA staff is committed to helping committed players realize their potential and reach their desired level of performance, and in helping each goalkeeper who trains with us to leave and elevate themselves and team to a higher level. In addition, EGKA is now an official brand ambassador and retailer of uhlsport's superior goalkeeper products. EGKA stands by uhlsport as the premier provider of superior goalkeeper products. All goalkeepers who train with or participate in EGKA camps will receive exclusive discounts on all uhlsport products. Zach Petersen is the founder and director of Elevation Goalkeeper Academy (EGKA). Coach Petersen played for 6-time state champions, Advantage Soccer Club, 2003 state high school champions at Layton High School, 2002-2003 5A region champions and 5 years as the starting goalkeeper for the Utah 85' ODP team. He was the 2003 and 2004 5A-All State goalkeeper and 2003 MVP goalkeeper for the Deseret News. Coach Petersen has more than 10 years in coaching goalkeepers as well as field players. He currently resides with his wife Alyson in Spanish Fork, Utah. After my 11yr old son's first training with Zach his comp soccer coach asked what we were doing different. He noted, "He played an amazing game." With each and every training session my son's game improves. Now after 2 months of training with Zach we still have other parents ask what we have been doing different with his game. My husband and I jump at the chance to explain how we found Elevation Goalkeeper Academy and how each and every training Zach breaks down the session with our son to highlight his strong points and work on areas needing improvement. Zach passes on his love for the game to my son each and every training session. Zach's training style is motivating and encouraging keeping the love of soccer with the player.

Zach, Has done a great job with our goalies. He is very knowledgeable and can TEACH the position and not just play it. I've watched his sessions with our keepers and have been thoroughly impressed with how his sessions/drills translate to game situations and how he can analyze a keepers strengths and weeknesses to help them improve on both. Great job Zach.

Zach knows what he's doing. He took me to a whole new level of soccer. The first time we trained was in the snow. He went hard on me. No easy stuff. But Zach does know how do know how much potential you have.

Zach really cares about his goalkeepers. His sessions include circuit training to improve strength and stamina as well as specific drills to improve performance. My son has been training with Zach for almost 2 years. Zach instills hard work and accountability and cheers him on and encourages him in all he does. Zach is always available and responds if my son has a question or is giving him updates on his games. Zach is always positive and is much more than a soccer coach, he is a mentor in soccer and in life. I can't say enough about the difference Zach makes for my son!

Zach trains our club keepers and is fantastic to work with. He is energetic, positive, and hands on with players during his sessions. The knowledge and technique he shares through goal keeper training has improved the quality of both our boys and girls teams.

Pricing is very simple. I am willing to work deals for multiple sessions or packages. The following forms of payment are accepted: Cash, Credit Card, Venmo, Paypal
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typcially the first session is a general session covering alot of aspects to see where the player stands in their technique, physical ability and understanding. After that initial session, each following session is fully customized to the players needs or requests. I train to help the player however possible and will modify things to fit desires and needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm certified by the USSF, NSCAA (USC) Utah State Athletic Association and also am First Aid certified
