We agreed on the scope of work and pricing, and I communicated that I was not comfortable paying a deposit before work began, as I have not done so with other contractors in the past. After discussing scope adjustments, communication stopped and I did not receive any follow-up or clarification on how to proceed. Because of the lack of response after we had aligned on terms, the project did not move forward. I cannot comment on workmanship since no work was completed, but my experience with communication and reliability was disappointing.
