Introduction: What is most unique about my style of massage is my attention to details, intuition, pace, transition, quality of touch, blended strokes and technique, blending modalities for balance and ease with a sense of nurturing positive healing energy and extensive experience working on the anatomy of the muscles in relation to healing. I do a range of massage styles including deep tissue, fascia blasting, I also offer a soft and soothing lomi lomi long stroke with eselen twisting and under strokes for both relaxing, therapeutic plus spa & services available at no extra cost... a combination of longer strokes and transitional strokes to get your body to surrender to a relaxation zone and give the most comfort. Trust is key. Comfort is essential. The table has thick memory foam padding and lambskin under the sheet, also hot packs, hot towels & (if requested at the time of booking) Hot stone, essential oils topically or in Aroma diffuser are also complimentary, as well as a hot oil nerve stroke. My hydraulic table allows me to position you where it is most effective and allows me to have plenty of energy. This is a nice option especially for prenatal work, where the mother-to-be is positioned on her side. I love hugs, I love touch... the relief I hear, feel and see, from the breathing, to the look on their face, to the fascia restrictions and adhesion's in the body that disappear, reach further range of motion and a healthy balance. Who wouldn't love the opportunity everyday to make someone better, to actually do something to help heal instead of masking symptoms with drugs. I love my work and have been doing it all my life.

I was experiencing pain in my lower back and needed relief from the distress. . I had had pain in my lower back for several weeks. When I told her about my pain she was able to pull and stretch my muscles in a way the relieved the pain without causing me more pain. I have had issue with massages before that were painful and did not help. It was wonderful!

Donna Whitten is a very good massage therapist. She knows what pain is and is able to relax and heal me. I have been going to Donna for over 10 years and she has been the best. I highly reccomend her she is very professional and I know you will not be disapointed.I never have been. If you are in need of a very good and highly reccomended therapist Donna is the best.

Tense, tired, and in pain - Donna melted all the aches away. I highly recommend her to anyone who has an injury, arthritis, or accumulated stress. She knows when to ask questions and when to just let be. I feel so much better going out than coming in.

Donna provides massage therapy services as a volunteer for our non-profit foundation serving parents & families of children with developmental disabilities. per hour pricing is standard, although on occasion I may extend just a bit in order to do my job well if I am in the middle of something.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to know the reasons for someone getting Massage, what triggers your need for massage & how long you have been trying to find solutions to what troubles you. I like to keep in touch & to see what effects my therapy has over time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began my massage career in 1995 in Utah, apprenticing under a chiropractor and then under a physician and group of physical therapists in three hospitals and pain centers while a student, working towards getting my bachelors of integrated studies at Weber State University (still finishing) in Human relations, Business Management and Marketing. My license and registrations were starting in Utah are through UTMC (Utah College of Massage Therapy) and IHC (Intermountain Health Care) hospital training program for Physical Therapy Assistant. Then in Dallas at Sterling College of Massage and Austin for State Boards. My continuing education from Sterling is in Neuromuscular, Sports massage, Shiatsu, Tui na, Aroma Therapy, Business Ethics, and meridian reflexology. From Astens College of Massage Therapy and Dallas Institute of Healing Arts, I received certifications in basic reflexology and Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Also Remedial, Acupressure, Acu-Yoga, Bio magnetic Repatterning, Cranial Sacral, Deep Tissue, Myofacial, Trigger Point Therapy, Polarity, Thai-Yoga, Esalen, lomi lomi, and Prenatal Massage. The majority of my experience is with Pain management and doctor referrals. I was introduced to Reiki in 1995 when I began my career and used its basic theories in my practice then in 2004 decided to become a Reiki Practitioner after my Doctor. Dr Lam used Reiki on me in his medical office where he explained the range of benefits medically in place of traditional masking of symptoms that medical doctors are encouraged. I later obtained my Reiki II Training from Dr Yoon in 2009 and for my Masters Degree Reiki in 2013 as a Reiki Master Practitioner Two why I reference RMT I emphasize Two because I still feel there is further Mastery to strive for. Since 2009 I still keep up on my own energy healing with regular sessions booked with Dr Yoon for both meditation with Dr Yoon and Reiki from Dr Yoon who is also a MD of internal medicine, a Medical Physician and one of the greatest Reiki Masters. I am also an Aromatherapies Practitioner and received specialization in June of 2000 Through the Dallas Institute of Healing Arts. I do public speaking, conduct events and do seminars on Aromatherapy, and the process of making home made natural holistic products which aide in healing.
