I am always searching for information on new computer hardware and software.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for their certifications, A+ is the one they need to work on a computers hardware. Test their general knowledge, ask why that part needs to be replaced, ask what it does, why it costs that much, etc.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
That not all technicians are out to convince you your computer is too old and you need to buy a new one for $500, I can build one for $200 and have it work better.
