FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a site visit or detailed phone intake to understand the scope. From there I provide a written proposal with line-item pricing, timeline, and what’s included vs. excluded. Once approved, I schedule, pull permits where required, and communicate throughout the job. No surprises at the end.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently tracked down a hidden kitchen leak that had been causing water damage under a sink. The issue ended up being a combination of a worn drain assembly and a slow supply line leak. We replaced the failing parts, tested everything under load, and made sure it was fully dry before leaving. Total time was about half a day. The customer avoided further damage and didn’t need additional repairs later.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Verify their license and insurance before anything else — plumbing and heating work has real liability if it’s done wrong. Ask whether they pull permits. Anyone who suggests skipping permits is cutting a corner that will cost you later. Get a written scope of work, not just a number on a napkin.
