- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a graduate from Utah Valley University with a Harp Performance Degree, I was required to take many classes to help me gain as much knowledge and experience to pass on to my students, including: 2 semesters of Harp Pedagogy & Literature 4 semesters of Aural Skills 3 semesters of Music Theory, 1 semester of Form & Analysis, 1 semester of 20th Century Theory 2 semesters of Music History & Literature 2 semesters of Keyboard Proficiency 1 semester of Music Career Development and Songwriting 1 semester of Conducting 2 semesters of Music Industry & Technology As well as taking private lessons, master classes, symphony orchestra, wind symphony, chamber orchestra, and small ensembles classes every semester, and putting on three recitals during my study. I earned a final GPA of 3.8 for my undergrad, and am now working on completing my Suzuki Teacher Training.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have had the pleasure of working with clients of all kinds, from playing at rest homes, hospitals, wedding ceremonies and receptions, university graduations, luncheons/dinners honoring prestigious figures in the community, open houses for businesses, and many more. As for teaching, I have had the opportunity to work with students of all ages and experience.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
