And not just change.  A positive, deliberate change that helps you begin to fall back in love with yourself.  My name is Alyssa, I use to be overweight and hated the way I looked when I saw my reflection in the mirror.  I did not want to think about the negative emotions about myself and used food to cope eating away my feelings by diving into bags of potato chips, pints of ice cream, and several cookies hardly able to move after my binge eating session.   I was fed up with how I looked and decided I was going to eat 800 calories a day to get to my goal. If I binged eat, I would throw up the food so that I did not take in the calories and before you knew it, I was at my goal weight in 3 months.  Although I reached my goal, I felt weak and did not have any energy, I was obsessively counting every calorie, and I would pass out in the middle of workout sessions often due to lack of food I needed. I eventually gained all my weight back and more reaching 175lbs at 5’6.  I was in a worst place than when I started and I did not want to go on a extreme diet or calorie diet to get to my goal; I KNEW. I needed something sustainable.  I decided instead of a weightloss goal, that I wanted to focus on good habits that would help me to increase my energy and confidence, stay motivated, and feel strong.  I learned how to stop looking at food as the enemy, replaced binged eating with painting, and changed my negative self talk to things that would uplift me. After I discovered how to love myself, I wanted to help other people transform inside and outside.  In 2010, I decided to become a trainer to be the best that I could be for others and understand how to work with all body types.  I couldn’t help but notice that the clients who came to me in their 30’s and  40’s often felt overwhelmed or even ashamed of the new challenges that they they were experiencing with their bodies. Majority of my clients experienced their metabolisms slowing down and could not understand why they were continuing to gaining weight when their eating habits were the same that they did in their 20s.  I knew that I could help them to build structure and consistency that they could do for a lifetime and before I knew it, that became my mission…To help women create a sustainable heathy lifestyle to be the best version of themselves.     We will start with a health assessment where we will go over your goals, limitations, injuries, and do a virtual workout. From there, we will set up a blueprint that will create structure in your life to get you to your fitness goals in a specific timeframe.
