About
ONLINE ONLY. I do not train in person and I do not sell single sessions.
I work with one kind of client: retired women, roughly 65 to 75, who have started noticing that their body is not doing what it used to. Stairs feel harder. Getting up off the toilet takes a push off the counter. Standing up from a low chair takes two tries. You are not injured and you are not sick. You are just quietly avoiding more things than you were a year ago.
Here is what almost nobody tells you. You did not stop moving because you got weak. You got weak because you stopped moving. And you stopped moving because at some point you stopped trusting your body to hold you up.
That is the thing I fix.
I have been a certified personal trainer for 15 years and I have worked specifically with seniors since 2010. NASM certified, with additional certifications in senior mobility and senior flexibility.
My program is called The Trust Your Body Protocol. It is 90 days, three phases, run live over video, capped at 8 to 10 women so I can watch your form and correct it in real time on every rep. Three sessions a week.
What my clients can typically do by day 90: Stand up from a chair 10 times in a row without using their hands. Most start at two or three. Pick something up off the floor without grabbing furniture on the way back up. Get up a flight of stairs without stopping to catch their breath. Report less knee and lower back pain during ordinary daily activity.
Eloise came to me a self-described couch potato. She is 78 now, still with me after almost eight years, trains six days a week, and moves the way she did in college.
Why I do this work. My mom was diagnosed with a condition where staying physically active was the single most important thing she could do for herself. She did not have the right support. Within six months she went from mobile to barely moving at all. I have spent 15 years making sure that does not happen to other women.
This is not for you if you want a fast weight loss fix, you want macros and meal plans, or you want to book one session and see how it goes. I do not do any of that.
This is for you if you plan to keep traveling, keep up with your grandchildren, carry your own groceries and stay in your own home, and you want a plan built for the body you have right now instead of the one you had at 45.

Alyssa is absolutely AMAZING! I wasn’t one hundred percent sure if remote personaltraining would work for me—-but working with Alyssa is FUN, MOTIVATING, and goals/results are achieved. I am a senior with some mobility limitations and desired to increase my fitness level without injury. Alyssa brings a wealth of knowledge on body mechanics and she gives me clear guidance. I understand not only the “exercise “ but she explains the goal of the exercise and the correct way to do the exercise. She is prompt, professional, and personable! I love it!

I was looking for a nutritionist/ trainer, who would be flexible with my chaotic schedule. I reached out to a few and Allysa from BeTheBestYouFitness called me back immediately. this spoke volumes about her work ethic. I was not sold on the idea of online only training sessions, but Alyssa offered me a 30 minute trial and it was a success. She spotted the irregularities in my form, corrected them verbally and by the end of the session I felt on line training was actually a better fit for me. She designed a program to improve my balance and a meal plan to improve my diet and help with my weight goals. She is encouraging, enthusiastic, extremely knowledgeable, patient and professional. I am given additional activities to supplement my work outs and aid my progress. I highly recommend BeTheBestYouFitness for your training and nutritional needs.

I can't recommend Alyssa or Marjorie enough! Whether you're looking to build strength, improve flexibility, or just feel more connected to your body, they create a space that's supportive, challenging, and empowering.
What really sets them apart is their genuine encouragement and attention to each person's journey. No matter your level, they meet you where you are and help you grow—physically and mentally. Their classes are a perfect balance of intensity and mindfulness, and I always leave feeling stronger, more grounded, and more motivated.
If you're thinking about starting strength training or yoga—or deepening your practice—do yourself a favor and try a class with them. They truly care, and it shows in everything they do.

Great experience! I was struggling with sciatica and they were able to provide/show me stretching exercises. This ultimately helped alleviate the pain and I fo those same exercises daily and everything feels better. I highly recommend!

These strong women will provide top-quality care regarding your health and fitness. And for MY personal experience, they introduced me to a whole world of things like functional fitness and stretching and yoga moves that are life-saving and so essential as these are things I would never do on my own. But they got me into a routine. These women are so sweet to deal with and they will be very committed to you and they make it obvious your goals are as important to them as it is to you.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$2,000 for the full 90-day Trust Your Body Protocol. That is 36 live small group sessions, your initial assessment, reassessments at 30, 60 and 90 days, and the Progress Guarantee. I do not sell single sessions and I do not do a monthly drop-in rate, because the results I promise take a full 90 days to build safely.
For context: assisted living runs about $6,200 a month. A hip replacement without insurance runs around $40,000. This program costs a fraction of one month of what you are trying to avoid, and instead of managing a decline you are reversing one.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a 15-minute call so I can hear what has actually gotten harder for you. Stairs, groceries, getting off the floor, whatever it is.
If we are a fit, you get a full assessment before your first session. I measure upper body strength, lower body strength, mobility, core stability, balance and range of motion, so we both know exactly where you are starting.
Then the three phases. Weeks 1 to 4 are balance, foundational movement patterns and proper form with light resistance. Weeks 5 to 8 we add real resistance and compound movements, increasing load only as fast as your form allows. Weeks 9 to 12 we build endurance, push mobility further and challenge functional fitness.
We repeat the assessment at 30, 60 and 90 days so your progress is a number, not a feeling.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
NASM certified personal trainer with additional specialized certifications in senior mobility and senior flexibility. 15 years training clients, with a specific focus on seniors since 2010.
