My name is Shannon Madison. I love working with children of all ages and have done so in a variety of settings over the past 30+ years. As an elementary school teacher I have enjoyed incorporating art and creativity into the classroom and I am excited to carry my talents over into face painting! I strive to make clients feel comfortable during the experience and excited and satisfied with their individual design.
It is important to note that my rates change seasonally and I do have a 90 minute minimum. I am happy to answer any questions by phone, text or email. I look forward to making your event more colorful!

Shannon is the most professional facepainting professional I have hired. She was very proactive, had a contract ready, confirmed details the day before, arrived on time with her table, chair for kids/whoever wanted to get facepainting done, a sign for the facepainting designs, it was great! Once we hired her she was on top of everything. She is very talented and kids loved her!

If you’re looking for an amazing face painter in the DMV area, don’t look no further! I hired Shannon from CM Entertainment and she was phenomenal. She was professional, friendly, patient, and amazing with the kids. She focused on each child and helped them decide on what to choose for their facepaintings. The quality of her work was amazing. FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing may vary depending on distance traveled to event. It includes the cost of materials, insurance, travel and time spent creating and perfecting designs. Venmo, PayPal, Zelle are preferred. Corporate checks are accepted. Credit cards are accepted as well but are subject to service fees.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial contact, I ask client to complete a google form to help me learn more about the event and complete the contract. Half of the fee is due when the contract is signed, the other half is due the day of the event. Questions on the form include the age of clients and the theme of the event. Your event fee includes face paint with glitter and gems, designs to go with your theme and glitter tattoos.
The day of the event I will arrive 15-20 minutes before the scheduled time to set up. I will also send you a message confirming details and reminding you of the remaining balance which is due at this time. I will stay through contracted time and if needed I can usually stay for longer if you would like to add on in 30 minute increments. I am available via *************************** at any point leading up to or after the event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do not have any formal artistic training but I have been teaching and working with kids for over 20 years. I love being creative and getting ideas from clients for new designs.
