My father started this business in 1955 with my mother . I use the top-rated tax software available (you may not have heard if it, but it's called Ultratax CS). It is the 800-lb. gorilla of the tax preparation business. It allows me to be able to file all US tax returns, both federal and state. This is the only work that I do (it's not a second job) and I work at it all year round. We have one associate who can do Sunday and night appointments in the Virginia office all year, too.
