Introduction: Hello, my name is Donita! I’m a children’s author and a liturgical, modern, and praise, hip-hop dancer. I wrote my first children’s book in 2020. Giving so much imagination and love, mixed with a little black girl magic, have been one of the most enjoyable experiences yet. I have been ministering the art of dance for over seventeen years. I was born October 01, 1991 in the District of Columbia. I’m also a mother of a very beautiful family. I was introduced to Liturgical and praise hip-hop dance back in 2002, in a small city called Grand Rapids, Michigan. From there, the love, the motivation, and the passion for dance became unbreakable. Knowing the work and the art of God transforming the lives of all, gets me at a joyous place that I never want to leave from! My prayer and encouragement for all is, whatever it is that takes you to that place with God, self and others, “Run with it, and never look back!”

I was so pleased with my choice if hiring Donita as a dancer for my daughters 45th birthday party. Everyone lived watching her. She was excellent, kind and friendly. She was so easy to work with from our first conversation and was very accommodating. I could watch her dance everyday. Whenever I'm in need of a dancer or know anyone who is i will most definitely call on her again and recommend her to anyone, as i have recommended her to my friend that will be having a party soon and has hired her. She is not only a superb dancer but has the most beautiful spirit. I cannot say enough good things about her. She arrived on time and kept me informed in the weeks leading up to her performance. She also displayed impeccable grace. I am a complainer when things are not right, because I expect things that most people cannot deliver such as great customer service, attention to detail, engaging well with others etc. She checked all the boxes.

Donita is an AWESOME instructor! My mom and I worked with Donita for our "Mom-Daughter" dance for my wedding. She was very friendly, patient, fun and made us feel very confident. Even though, we chose a very fast paced song, Donita was able to make it easy to catch on to the dance very fast. We were so impressed that she was able to do all of this virtually! We highly recommend for any of your dance needs. We will be booking more sessions!
