Hi, I’m Tigist the photographer and creative director behind Storyline & Co. At Storyline & Co., I believe photographs should do more than document how a moment looked they should preserve how it felt. My approach blends thoughtful direction with genuine, unscripted moments to create imagery that feels elevated, personal, and true to you. From the moment you inquire, my goal is to make the entire experience seamless and intentional. I help with everything from location and wardrobe guidance to creative concepts and posing, while still leaving room for the natural moments that often become the most meaningful photographs. I photograph families, maternity, couples, weddings, personal branding, headshots, and special events throughout Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, and beyond. I’m also bilingual and fluent in Amharic, and I’m always happy to work with clients and families who feel more comfortable communicating in either English or Amharic. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, traveling, cooking, crocheting, or finding another creative project to get lost in. Creativity has always been a meaningful part of my life, and I bring that same care and passion to every Storyline & Co. session.
