Introduction: My name is Carrie Miller and I specialize in making sure that every detail of your event is taken care of. My ultimate and main goal is for you and your fiancé to have a stress free and memorable wedding as this should be a magical day that you remember forever. My quote is an all inclusive price: it includes all logistical planning and organization for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception including décor, centerpieces, setup items, teardown and much more. Also, I can provide other services as needed (for example: vendor recommendations, contract negotiations, venue selections and guest support). I love working and coordinating with a variety of vendors to provide you with the services that you requested. It is especially rewarding that it is everything you wanted and you are happy with the results.

My wedding day could not have happened with Carrie. She did a beautiful job with our decorations, she is very responsive, very kind, and handled all the details that were important to us. I needed a day of wedding coordinator who could also do some of the decoration. Beyond the day of our wedding, Carrie went above and beyond to do two separate venue site visits and ask all the questions I didn't know to ask. On the day of my wedding I was able to trust Carrie and relax at the reception knowing everything was in good hands. I highly recommend working with her.

Carrie was the perfect coordinator. Our wedding could not have happened without her. She thought of everything beforehand and was prepared with a plan for everything on the day of. It would be beneficial for her to have an assistant for large events. She works incredibly hard to make the event happen perfectly. Sometimes, she works so hard she loses personal empathy for the wedding party. With that being said, she exceeded our expectations in making our wedding day perfect. We could not have done it without her.

Carrie overall did a good job of coordinating my wedding. She approached the planning steadfastly. She had a helpful questionnaire to organize all of the details. She met with me to go through everything. Her fee was also very affordable. She set up all the decor for the wedding beautifully and graciously picked up the small flower order I had placed for the wedding. The only regret I had was that she didn’t give my father a heads up about the toast. Instead she went to the D.J. first who announced that my dad would be giving a toast. My father was in the middle of eating and was caught off guard. He didn’t give the beautiful toast he had prepared. I think a more seasoned wedding planner would have known to first check in with a potentially nervous dad to give him some warning before cueing the D.J. or MC to start the toasts. Unfortunately it is a sore nite when I think about my wedding day. I also think she could improve on her handling of the wedding rehearsal but that will come in time as she gains more experience. Overall though, I still rate her highly. I am thankful for her time, her care and her assistance. I would recommend her to others as well.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is a fixed payment as I do not charge by the hour. My price ranges depending on the client's budget and services needed. My quote changes depending on the customer’s needs, traveling expenses, assistant(s) if needed and managing the rehearsal. I also offer planning options as a monthly payment plan if needed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer either meeting them face to face or via the phone. This is the best way for us to communicate your expectations and the services that I can assist and provide for you. Once we meet, I go over your expectations and vision for your wedding day and the services I can provide for you and how I can bring your vision to reality.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an event management certification from George Washington University. I also have over ten years of day of wedding coordination experience working with two wedding service companies as an Assistant Coordinator or the Head Coordinator managing my own weddings
