FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer jobs that are 2 hours or longer, which allows enough time to ensure high-quality results from start to finish. My hourly rate is $75, and I also offer project-based pricing for larger or ongoing jobs. For longer projects, I focus less on the clock and more on delivering exceptional quality and attention to detail- making sure every part of the job is done right the first time. If the job is more beneficial to you as client when handled hourly/or complete project I'll always provide the most cost-effective and efficient option. My priority is your satisfaction and long-lasting results.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you hire me through Thumbtack, I make sure the process is clear, professional and focused on quality results from start to finish. 1) Initial contact & project details- I start by reviewing your request and asking a few questions to understand exactly what needs to be done- whether it's repairs, installations or general maintenance. 2) Estimate and recommendations- Once I have the details, I'll provide you with a quote, if you're within a reasonable distance (up to 10 miles ) from zipcode 20148 I can also stop by. Most times I stick to the quote provided online, there are instances that quotes can change, before I start the job I'll be upfront. I'll also let you know if there are better, or more cost effective ways to get the job done. 3) Scheduling and Preparation: We'll agree on a time that works best for you, I typically start my hours at 9AM or 10AM, 10AM is to avoid peak traffic hours in the area. I bring my tools, if there is anything specifically needed I may run to a HD. 4) Quality work from start to finish: I take pride in doing the job right the first time, my focus isn't on rushing I make sure my work is solid, safe and intended to last. 5) Before I leave, I prefer client to review and confirm job is done according to agreed terms.
