- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The standard commission for agents in the Northern Virginia area is 6%. Depending on the situation, I can offer discounts.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually meet with my clients at their home to talk about what they are looking for in an agent and what I have to offer. I listen to their wants and needs, let them know the ways in which I can help them as an agent and let them decide if it's a good fit. I never force my clients to sign an agreement with me. If clients are happy with my services, they use me. If not, I never obligate anyone to use me if they do not feel it is a good fit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Before I became a licensed real estate agent, I earned a Bachelors and Masters degree in Psychology. Those degrees have been useful as I work with clients during what can sometimes be an emotionally challenging and stressful time. I regularly complete continuing education classes to keep up to date on the latest regulations, rules and trends in real estate.
