Work performed was cleaning out and restoring the crawlspace, with new insulation, etc. Chris the owner is very nice and knowledgeable about all things crawlspace-related. I like that he broke away from the larger companies with high prices and workers with no clue. I did not like that the price given was hundreds of dollars higher than the ballpark estimate. I was also bothered y the company's respect for time. I kept letting it slide but in the end I realized it was more than one time that their timing was off. The estimate was scheduled for a certain time and after a few hours of waiting I called the office and they forgot about it, I lost time from work. On the scheduled project day, 1 hour after the start time I received an email they could not make it because of vehicle issues, plus it was raining so I understood but still I missed time at work. The following day 2 men arrived to begin the job, they were very nice and respectful and worked quietly, but they arrived 1 hour after the scheduled time and I did not know when they left. The 3rd day 1 guy arrived and quickly completed the job, he again was nice and quiet, I didn't even know when he left. I had to wait a few days for cleanup because they were still having vehicle issues but it was not as I expected. No truck, just a personal van and trash was dragged through the flowerbed, yard and driveway! I had to cleanup after they left and have the driveway cleaned! And some trash was still left. I actually like this company and would love to hire them for more work and recommend them to others, if they could just be more punctual and neater. Other than that, the faces behind this company are great people and knowledgeable and more compassionate than other companies. The work itself is complete and appealing.

Chris has performed numerous jobs around my house, such as Crawlspace renovation, Installing an initial HVAC system including Duct work and renovating a laundry room. Each time I am able to trust his judgement and always appreciate his communication ability. His prices are always accurate and reasonable especially for the quality of work performed. I would recommend his ability and knowledge to anyone.

As a home inspector I am pretty opinionated when it comes to crawl spaces. When it was time to do my own there was only one choice: Chris Mullican, the Crawl Space Ace. I have referred to clients him many times and inspected his work on a number of them. They simply do a better job than any others that I have seen and at a fair price. Chris' knowledge of HVAC installations gives him the ability to take a holistic approach to crawl space moisture....an ability I have not found elsewhere. Crawlspace Ace did a crawlspace encapsulation at my residence, and I have to say that my experience with them was very good. From the first meeting I had with them up until the completion of the job, they were professional, on time, and did a great job. A home can be perfectly sound above the crawl space yet still face the dilemma of this foul air (containing these undesirable contaminants) entering the general living area unless the crawl space area is addressed. Also look for independent research on energy savings benefits and pricing.
