Mr Fitzhugh was very thorough in his diagnosis of the problem with my unit, explaining very well and showing me before and after pictures of the unit in the crawl space. He was very professional and polite. It was very refreshing to find a company that takes pride in the quality of their work. He did not leave until the job was complete and my unit was once again working properly. I intend to call on him again when needed in the future and I will recommend him to my family and friends as well.
Details: Repair • Only warm air is blowing from the vents • Less than a week ago • Electric (most common) • Closet • Outside • House

Very fair and honest... didn’t end up needing more than a diagnostic this time around, but would hire for AC install or repair again in a heartbeat!

My a/c stopped working a few weeks ago and Russell from Fitzhugh Heating and Air came to my home and repaired our air conditioner. Im not an a/c expert by any stretch but he explained what I needed in an easy to understand way. I feel like he knows his stuff. I will be using his company in the future.

I highly recommend Fitzhugh Heating and Air! The technician who came to our home was courteous and professional. He clearly explained what was wrong with the system, and gave us all repair/replacement options. He wasnt pushy for us to replace the system, which we appreciated. We are very happy with the repairs that were done and would definitely call them again in the future!

Russell came out figured the problem out quickly - the other company came out 3 times and couldn’t make it work. He’s got my work from now on!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We don't like pushy sales guys with a generic one-size-fits-all solution. We charge a nominal fee that is waived when you proceed with the work. This allows us to provide you with a competitive proposal that is actually taylored to you and your homes needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our HVAC mechanics recieve continuous on the job and classroom training to keep all our skills fresh. I have a masters license and so does my senior mechanic/hvac design consultant. I have a love for the industry and keep my knowledge fresh by staying on top of all the new technologies through trade journals and industry groups.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My guys and I all kind of fell into this line of work because we like fixing things, working with our hands. Mostly the satisfaction of helping people keeps us driving on and exited to meet new potential customers.
