We hired this contract via Thumbtack which we are very happy about the price and the quality of the work. We got three different quotes, Vanquish Home gave a straightforward and lowest price. Initially I was a bit worry about the quality due to its lower price. But it proved that my worry was in vain. Several our neighbors commented on the quality of the materials used and the workmanship.

Vanquish home services was amazing throughout the entire deck installation process. Fred worked at a big name decking company before, so he has the knowledge of the pros but is able to give a huge discount in comparison. They are very communicative throughout the entire process and will fix any errors immediately. They also installed a beautiful exterior French door for me. Highly recommend!

I was very pleased with the work done by Vanquish Home Services. My project included repairs/restoration to my wood deck, stucco, vinyl siding, and stamped concrete sidewalk. The teams, led by Project Director Fred Harris, were all punctual and professional, and did exceptional work. Initially, I was genuinely excited to work with Vanquish. We had a clear plan for a brand-new patio, including colours and materials, and the early communication was excellent. Once the job was completed, though, I was disappointed to find that the colour wasn’t what we had discussed, even after sharing photos and having several onsite conversations about exactly what I was hoping for.
When I raised my concerns about the patio being much darker than agreed, we began the process of having it restained. This ended up taking two months, during which I found myself calling most weekends hoping for a confirmed date. There were several occasions where workers were scheduled but didn’t come, and at times communication simply stopped. It left me feeling that once payment was made, my concerns weren’t treated with the same urgency, which was disheartening.
Since then, the company has reached out, apologised, and taken the time to explain that the delays were due to weather constraints and previously booked commitments they needed to honour. They have also offered to return and re-stain the patio again in two years at no cost, which I truly appreciate.
Although this was a challenging experience, I am grateful for the steps they’ve taken to make things right. For future customers, I’d simply recommend double-checking the colour and final details before making payment, just to ensure everything aligns perfectly with your expectations.

All houses are constructed differently. In order to get the most accurate pricing a project manage would have to see the job for themselves. We provide a no obligation, hassle free estimate in order to inform our customers of the project details, best way to go about it, and of course pricing.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We love new customers and do whatever is necessary to go above and beyond before, during and after the project. Were available to go over the scope of the project, design plans, colors, pricing, financing. Anything we can help with, that why we're here.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our crews have over 20 years experience in the Home improvement industry. We also do ongoing yearly training with our manufacturers in order to keep up to date on the new techniques, tools and codes in the marketplace.
