Introduction: I thrive on creating a healthy and productive relationship with and between dog and owner by using various methods of training that best suit each individual dog. For the past six years I have helped hundreds of owners and their dogs work on issues such as leash reactivity, separation anxiety, resource guarding, creating calm dogs, and establishing overall obedience and manners. I look forward to the new pups that I get to work with as I branch out into my self employment and continue my love of working with canines!

Hired on Thumbtack

We have an older dog (5 years) who had not had any training when we got her and we knew immediately we were going to need help. Although Brittney didn't have any recommendations on Thumbtack when I hired her, I can say after only 2 sessions, that I am grateful we did! She has a very positive attitude and has taught us so much. And Scarlett is already responding so well. She comes to our home, uses a variety of approaches to help in training and is very calm, which is especially helpful for the owners! Brittney has responded to questions between sessions, she has left us good information to look over in between sessions, and at each session we've seen progress. We purchased a 6 session package with Brittney which was a very good deal and after just 2 sessions, we are more than pleased. We're looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish with Scarlett in the next 4 weeks and would have no hesitancy in hiring Brittney for more time if we need it

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The Board and Train is typically 2-3 weeks (contengient on dog’s issues). One-on-one lessons can be held in-home, at a neutral location, or on my farm! Each lesson is $80 or you may buy a six day package for $450. Lessons are typically scheduled once a week during a date/time that works for both the owner and myself! No group classes currently.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Consultations are welcome and recommended to allow us to work up a game plan together for your dog’s success!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in Behavior Modification and Obedience Training through Tarheel K9 (based in NC).
