FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based largely off of expenses in addition to work performed. A 30 minutes performance usually equates out to at least 8 hours of work to produce photos to send to you. In addition to time spent, travel expenses, parking, food, special gear, all add up.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started out learning photography by just picking up a camera and experimenting. I have several friends who shoot photos and I always challenge them and myself to create better and better photos. I recently attended a weekend seminar by Jeremy Saffer who is a very well known and published band photographer shooting for several major magazines and bands!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Overwhelming support from musician friends of mine. It started out as a hobby of mine. Mark Morton and Randy Blythe of Lamb of God really got behind me initially to get me going. Randy connected me with Mark Hunter of Chimaira, who connected me with band photography Jeremy Saffer, and the list goes on and on!
