Jon James was absolutely wonderful. He showed up early, has his equipment set up quickly and was ready to go. He worked with the bride on songs she wanted and when they would be played, he made some excellent suggestions that helped make things go smoothly, and did a masterful job of keeping things moving. He also did a wonderful job as MC, again, keeping events flowing and then helping us get folks up to dance and playing great music that kept most of us up dancing longer than we would have. We heard a lot of comments from guests on how good they thought he was. All of us involved with the wedding could not have been happier.

Jon was amazing! Being young and new to marriage and weddings, Jon gave us much needed advice, not just on music, but how to organize the reception and plan each event. He also gave advice on things like cake cutting and throwing the bouquet. Having someone with as much experience as Jon was just what we needed. He was easy going and fun to work with. He handled everything from months in advance even to the day of! The sound quality was perfect and the reception music kept everyone on the dance floor.

Jon was a fantastic DJ! We booked him for our wedding cocktail hour and reception. We couldn't be more satisfied with his services. He was extremely flexible as well as extremely helpful. He cut songs for an epic series of wedding party entrances, cut our first dance song exactly how we had asked him to and put on a great party!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly updating my music library as well as offering the latest in lighting and audio equipment.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father was a musician in Nashville in the 50's and 60's and I grew up around music. I am also a seasoned saxophone and piano player as well as vocalist. Music has always been a huge part of my life and will be for as long as I live
What types of customers have you worked with?
I do every type of DJ event. Weddings, Corporate events both formal and social, holiday and children parties, college events,night clubs, church events, etc. NO matter if it is for 50 or 500 plus I am a high energy performer. I also provide general wedding planning and packets and event advice for my clients.
