Welcome to Stitches & Knots! My mom taught me to knit when I was a young girl on road trips, and I taught myself to crochet during an incredibly boring desk job one summer. Many many bookmarks and circles later, I was encouraged to share my maker-talents to the world. Hopefully my daughter will share my love of yarn fibers when she's older! I love to make cute gifts of all types! Honestly, my favorite project is yours. I love creating gifts with unique details that make it specially yours and something you'll cherish for years to come. All items I make are handmade by me, in a smoke-free and pet-free environment, and I take great care to make sure that all items are not only durable, but appropriate for your special someone. I'm not a designer. I wish! I admire those who come up with the original designs, and will always pay respect to the design originator. That said- I do have the skills to alter and adapt designs to my needs, and have an amazing and ever-growing database of patterns to work from and adjust as needed. If there's something you've seen on Pinterest, odds are I can make it for you, in your favorite colors, size and style. I love a challenge! I am also able and enjoy repairing crochet items. If you have an older blanket made by your loved ones, and it needs some mending, send me a picture, and I'd love to help you restore your keepsake.
