About

A Voice 4 Strings is a violin and viola private lesson studio. ♪ Our focus is to keep learning simple and enjoy the musical time on the violin and viola. We tailor teaching to student's learning style. This could include the Suzuki Method, the students own music preference, church hymns and praise songs, or a little bit of fiddling skills. Basic to advanced music theory can also be taught during lessons, encouraging students to learn not only how to play music, but how to read it as well. Beginning to mid-level students are welcome to begin lessons with AV4S! Anyone who shows an interest is able to play and give the violin, or viola, a voice! I love to work with people of all ages. The light in students eyes when something just "clicks" makes me smile! I love that a student can pour their emotions into the violin and can express that emotion productively into their music.

Spring 2026 semester private lesson prices: 30 min lesson = $23.00 45 min lesson = $30.90 60 min lesson = $41.20 90 min lesson = $61.80 -There is a new student registration fee of $40. -There are sibling/immediate family member discounts and word-of-mouth discounts offered for those who qualify. -Home lessons are offered and charged a travel fee per lesson.
