The thing that makes me stand out is that all my menus are custom-made for the clients who hire me. That means from the development of the menu, through the making of the food, it's all made just for you. So many other catering companies have set menus you have to order from, and often they'll try to sell you the leftovers from a previous party in order to cut costs! I'd never do that! If the catering company is offering you a rate that's too good to be true: I promise you, this is how they're accomplishing it. So if you want a fully custom menu that makes your event one of a kind and exactly what you want - then I'm the chef you want to hire! If you're looking only to save money, then by all means hire the cheap catering companies! The job of a chef, while fast-paced and fun, can also be overly stressful, and not involve enough interaction with the customers.Being a chef instructor, I do nothing but interact with customers, so they can learn and provide instant feedback, and that's really satisfying.
