I am a certified, licensed, and insured professional dog trainer offering group and private sessions. Positive reinforcement and associations are the training methods I use. I find that when the dogs have a pleasant outcome as a result of what you ask, there's a high probability they week do it again. Creating a positive & fun learning environment builds the dogs confidence and your bond I've owned and trained my own dogs for over 20 years. Annmarie was prompt, kind, and very informative during both our initial phone call and our first evaluation/consultation appointment. She took the time to hear what we have been doing with our dog, observed us as we demonstrated our current techniques, and gave comments and critique where needed. The delivery of her feedback was very warm and informative - we never felt as if we were being insulted or belittled like I have experienced with other trainers. She offered an explanation of *why* our technique may not be working and explained a way to alter our training so that we could help our pup be successful. We have already decided to schedule future training sessions with Annmarie and are very excited. After just the initial evaluation session I noticed a marked difference in how well my pup walked on leash once I implemented her suggestions. We are very happy with our choice!

Annmarie from Canine Curriculum has been helping me train my pup, we both love her! My dog is an older guy who I recently adopted, and had some very aggressive barking/lunging habits with other dogs. I'd never done dog training, and she gave me lots of strategies to help him, and always explained why we teach a dog something. Annmarie is very flexible - she understands that some owners want dogs to be relaxed, and some want dogs that are mega obedient. She adjusts her training to accommodate MY goals, not just what she thinks a dog should act like. She checks to make sure that I understand how to best help my dog, and always gives him lots of love and discipline.

Evaluation / Consultation and sessions are $95 each. This is for private, customized, in home sessions.

Certified, licensed, and insured. I received my certification from CATCH Canine Academy and have been training my own dogs for over 20 years.
