I am a photographer because I have an endless amount of love for life and people. My favorite thing about this business is getting to know my brides. It is true that I am head over heels in love with all of them! My brides are not people who just need a photographer ‘for the day’, but have their homes filled with photos I have taken of them, their families, and other milestones. My brides are my only clients that I text back and forth with at any given moment and that is because I am here 24/7 for you. Sammy J is knowledgeable of her equipment and creative with developing effective imagery. The photographer is professional between shots and willing to make quick adjustments. You can request to have models or not and make arrangements to have shoots location tailored to your liking but do come ready with your objectives.

Sammy was wonderful! She helped me build my first modeling portfolio. She was very welcoming when I first arrived and made me feel comfortable even though I was nervous from never shooting in a studio before. She didn't make me feel rushed, when I took 5 outfit change breaks. She even complemented my outfit choices! During the shooting, she made sure my head was tilted at the right angle to get the right look and made suggestions for props, like sitting on a chair. After the studio session, we had an outdoor session as well. I suggested somewhere near a body of water, and wasn't really familiar with the VA area, but she chose the perfect spot! She was even nice enough to give me a ride to the destination, since I had taken public transportation to the shoot. We went to Old Town Alexandria, and it was very crowded with people that day, but Sammy kept her composure taking the pictures, which gave me the confidence to model with a bunch of people staring at me in the background, which I didn't think I could pull off! On the walk to the water, she made very nice suggestions taking pictures in urban areas like the parking lot, an alleyway, a wooden fence and more. I was a little skeptical on how they would turn out, but that all changed when she showed me a sneak peak of them! The natural lighting, mixed in with the urban background fit perfectly! It gave the pictures a casual and realism aspect them. I am very glad I chose Sammy as my photographer. She is young, and very talented! I was very satisfied with the picture quality and quantity, once edited. I received 80 pictures, which was great, because you never really know which photos the client will think they look good in or terrible in. It provides a nice flexibility for them to pick out their favorites. Keep up the great work Sammy! :)

Samia is an amazing photographer with an outstanding level of creativity and ambition. She values the work shes doing and puts in effort to connect with her clients.
