This is the second project SR Home Improvements has done for my home, the first being a laundry room to full bathroom conversion, and this project installing new flooring to my downstairs. As usual, the work quality, price and professionalism was outstanding. I would highly recommend them for any home remodeling needs.

SR Home Improvement completed 2 bathroom remodels in my home and I think they worked efficiently, asked me lots of questions on placements of fixtures, informed me of supplies that I needed to provide and clearly defined what was included in the estimate. The cost and details of the tiling for the shower and bath, vanity, lights, and paint colors were all my choice, which I really liked. This second remodel I was on a tighter schedule and they did everything to make sure it was completed in my timeframe. I love my bathrooms and would definitely hire them again for any tiling, plumbing, remodel, electrical work, painting or drywall. Its a relief to have the 40 year old baths replaced, which fixed leaking water and makes everything more modern. Thanks so much to SR Home Improvement for the great service and especially the awesome coordination and communication for daily start end times and overall project expectations from Camilo and team!

Good: Saul the tile guy did a great job on the wall and floor tiles. Jan the coordinator responded quickly. The not good: 1) multiple people dumped water from paint, cement board remains, etc on my lawn (next to fruit trees) which there is no way to fully remediate. 2) plumber was all drama - turned away the ordered tub because “some of the insulation was missing” (I didn’t read the installation instructions until after - there was nothing missing); ordered and picked up a different tub and he said the same thing - but he was complaining the shipping styrofoam blocks (not intended for installation) were missing. Got him to install it. 3) Had clean up items - minor but toilet tank leaked and door frame paint was full of bumps and nicks. They offered to send someone to fix but I opted to fix myself. End result was good, but I wouldn’t use them again.

My project was finished in late summer last year, and I am now just getting to this on my to do list. Let me start off by stating the positives: they showed up when they said they would, were flexible within my schedule, and response to emails when I raised questions or concerns. I spent the larger portion of the time during this project traveling for work and they had some delays due to me being out of town. Kesenia was great at answering questions. The disappointments: I received a quote from them in Jan of 2024 and requested they return back in May 2024 for a new quote (as they expire) the new quote (minus the additional work I requested) was an additional $3K over that span. It was explained to me that most of this was due to the three support posts needing to be replaced and that jacking up the existing deck and doing so would be significantly expensive. When it was determined that only one of the three support posts had rot, they offered me a $600 refund for the other two. I opted to have these posts changed out as well, and this caused the slab to be poured at two different times, which made the floor rather unattractive (see photos). They hung the screen door crooked so between the grading of the slab away from the house and the way the door was hung, it wouldn't even close half way. I had asked twice for it to be corrected and the door still does not close completely, despite the team shaving off almost 1/2 inch of wood from a bottom section of the door. The door latch wasn't aligned well and there is no door jamb for the door to rest against (if it closed). The screen framing on the door is already giving out, although I don't have kids or pets to kick it in or cause problems. A nice drainage system was installed over the roof and one panel was rather bowed upward, which I missed on inspection. It is probably easy to pop, but I have to scrap out the caulking first. When they had extra cement from the slab pouring they poured it out in a corner of my yard where they had moved some of the dirt and I wound up finding it when trying to even out the dirt in that area of the yard. Only feedback I neglected to give was asking for screws rather than nails for the framing for the screens, it would have made my life much easier if I ever needed to change out a screen and that one was on me. Lastly they did a great job of cleanup, I requested they come back to take a lot of the clay/rock/soil that was dug up for the slab. Specifically they had thrown quite a bit of the rock and dirt between my fence and shed which had a lot of dampish mud against the wood shed, which I didn't want the rot or the potential termites. Unfortunately cleanup included a number of large flagstone pieces I needed for another project. The pieces were near the construction debris and when it was picked up I was at work and unable to reiterate that I required those pieces. I had spoken to some of the workers, Kesenia and the lead guy (who's name is escaping me at the moment). I think they genuinely wanted to make me happy with the project and I just felt bad complaining and asking for things to get corrected that I stopped. I think they would have fixed the bowed draining piece, the door, the lack of a jamb and come by for the cement if I asked but I was tired of feeling nitpicky about everything. Some stuff I thought would be standard. Quoting and house visits were very flexible for my work schedule and they held off on the project when I had people in town which I greatly appreciated. The overall work was done well.
