I hired Daisy Fresh Carpet Cleaning about a week ago to remove stains and clean my mattress. The technician named Christien came today and I watched him during the process. First a mist was sprayed over the entire mattress and then he went over it with another machine and scrubbed my stained areas for like 5 seconds. While scrubbing the stains I asked if it was lifting up and he just stopped. I asked if he could apply more solution or if there was a stronger solution, he then suggested in my personal time I try bleach or peroxide. Which then made me ask myself why am I paying for this service if I am being told I need to apply another cleaner or try cleaning it myself. This is not a $50 service charge, this is a $150 service charge. So I politely asked him to at least try scrubbing it a bit longer and then I noticed other spots were missed and the bed still had lent and fuzzies all over it still in the cracks. So then I said I understand the stains might not lift all the way out, but while you here and I am paying for this service can I at least see that you are putting in an effort with the stains and the cleaning of the entire mattress. I politely asked him to remove the lent now and he told me he was going to his truck to grab something while mumbling under his breath. I hear his truck door slams and by the time I made it to my window he drove off. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received and not worth the money. I could of sprayed febreeze and carpet cleaner on the mattress myself for way under $150. An image is pictured below from someone thanking me for the 1-star review and agreeing with the technician. They are stating it was the best thing for him to drive off so an argument wouldn't take place in my home. What type of business is this and where is the customer service. Unfair and dishonest, we asked no payment at all for our time, and you paid nothing. WE WILL NEVER stay in a customers home and continue to argue with them, it only serves to accelerate the situation in a negative way. *Our other mattress cleaning reviews speak for themselves.
I highly recommend Daisy Fresh Carpet Cleaning. I have used them personally for several years and they are on time, professional and do and excellent job. The service here is great. I've been difficult to nail down - in the middle of a move and still unpacking - and they were patient with me when I switched the date around. I had a misunderstanding about the price I paid (which ultimately came down to phrasing) and they got back to me right away and explained what it was. The whole process took about 20 minutes and my boyfriends (virtually archaic) mattress looks and smells new again. Christian, the technician, and Lewis, who took my calls, we're both professional, patient, and polite. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We typically base costs on average room sizes & square footages, and we do give additional discounts for lightly furnished or vacant homes. We also run seasonal coupons and offers, please ask about these when you contact us!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We would gather as much information as needed about the rooms and areas to be cleaned, as well as the soil/stain levels and any specific problem areas. We would provide a phone,email quote, and exact price would be given up front at the point of contact before any work is to begin.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Our techs have over 80 years of combined experience in the DC Metro area and many have been working directly for Daisy Fresh since 1990. This is one of the reasons we feel if we can't remove your spot or stain - no one can!
