Albert was initially very responsive. He made several suggestions that I took him up on. This made a simple repair a much bigger job than anticipated. I spent over $3,000. As the project went on, I experienced several delays that I chalked up as typical contractor headaches. For example, the replaced exterior doors sat on my lawn for several weeks. Several months after the work concluded, one of the doors that Albert installed began to malfunction. The storm door barely closes and I am afraid to open the exterior door since it sticks. I contacted Albert since he guarantees his work. It's been several weeks of frustrating back and forth trying to get this addressed. I am at the point where I will likely have to pay another contractor to fix this problem. I get that Albert has a small team and is juggling many projects, but trying to deal with a problem I thought I paid to fix is stressful on my end as well. While I am glad I got the work done, I wish I had shopped around a bit more.

Exceptional attention to detail. Superior craftsmanship. Simple explanations. I had some problematic mixed material doors that were breaking their hinges. Had 3 "door and window" people from Thumbtack come by to look at them. Everyone said "yes I can fix it" but couldn't actually explain what the problem was. JR showed up, diagnosed the problem and then scheduled the repair visit. Doors are working flawlessly now.
