- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide ideas, which is a creative process. While hard to put a $$ amount to creativity, a typical engagement takes anywhere from a few weeks to a few months, depending on the size of the remodel and services desired, and speed of feedback and my fees are a percentage of the overall project size. I don't charge by the hour, it's a lump sum fee we agree upfront, but my fees are secondary to your satisfaction.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An initial phone conversation to understand project outcome. If project makes sense to both parties, then: - A site visit to walk the site and discuss ideas - A few weeks later, a few design ideas shared in person/remote. - Final drawings/model incorporating the feedback. - Meeting with the contractor to review design.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters in Architecture from SUNY Buffalo.
