Max was awesome. Communicative throughout scheduling, during the install, and after. He came on time and well prepared for the task. Reviews for the product stated it took professionals 4-6 hrs and anyone doing it themselves sometimes multiple days of several hours. Max got it done in under 5hrs and added stability where instructions lacked! The piece is so great and well worth hiring Max!

Himm’s home service was a pleasure to work with. When it was discovered that parts were missing (which was my fault) they graciously did what they could accomplish that day and then worked to schedule us as quickly as possible when the missing parts came in to finish our install. Once they were finished it was like they were never there . Will definitely use them again when the need arises.

Max did a fantastic job in my home! He touched up paint where hanging pieces had been removed, hung pictures and wall art, and fixed towel racks that were coming off the wall. His work was extremely professional and thorough. I’m beyond pleased with the results and will definitely call him again!

(I wanted to also choose Punctuality and Responsiveness on what I liked about dealing with Himm's Home Services. He is all 5!!) As senior citizens, we're out of the "DIY" business and needed someone we could trust to attend to the details Ublockout needed. Maxwell Himm came and gave us precise measurements for shades for our windows, and then installed them when they arrived at our home. Max is really a gem and we are lucky we were referred to him by Ublockout shades. He was responsive to each email I sent, and was able to get us scheduled for the work in a very timely fashion. When the shades arrived he brought them to our bedroom, unboxed them and did all the installation on four windows; he showed us how to charge the motorization feature; he showed us how he programmed the remote; and then gave us the demonstration - which resulted in that "wow" moment as ALL light was blocked from the windows when the shades lowered, just like the videos you've probably seen on Instagram or Facebook. The day after installation, Max reached out to see if everything was good overnight and if we had found any issues that needed to be addressed! I just cannot say how impressed we were with Max. His quiet demeanor is reassuring -- he is careful, attentive, and focused on the job at hand. If you are hesitant (like we were) to spend a lot of money on a product on line, because they needed you do a lot of the work, you cannot go wrong if you reach out to Himm's Home Services and Maxwell Himm to be your "man on the ladder". You'll get a great product in Ublockout shades, and you can (literally) rest assured when Max done, you are going to get the best sleep of your life!
