Initially was replacing the HVAC, and we decided to replace the unit with Sergio based on his knowledge and experience. But he recommended it was easy fixable and not necessary to replace the unit. We ended up with repair The unit rather than replace. What a honest man, most of the contractor would rather to sell you the unit than fix it. Repair cost were extremely fair. He is also extremely respectful and kind. We feel able to find him was our one of the luckiest day. I would highly recommend every one to talk to him and I bet he satisfy all of your need.

I used Sergio and his teammate to install my water heater and he did an exceptional job. I found him to be very knowledgeable, professional and his costs very reasonable priced. Before he started the job, he explained the whole procedure, answered all my questions and erased all my fears. At the end of the job, he explained about the warranty, registering the product and assured me to call him should I run into any problems. He was pleasant and extremely easy to work with. I highly recommend him to fix all your plumbing and heating needs and will definitely use him again, if the need arises.

Sergio is a very honest and thoughtful person. He did an excellent job as promised, explained thoroughly everything before he had even started working on the job. Sergio and his helper had taken only a short time break for lunch after that they worked so hard from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. that day. He is a very diligently dedicated professional and I will be sure 110% highly recommended to anyone in search for any repair that relate to HVAC system in future. Thank you so very much Sergio!

My furnace went off on New Year's Day!
Freezing, I pondered; "where will I be able to find a repairman willing to make a service call on Sunday, and more so on New Year's Day?? My son suggested I use the "Thumbtack" app. In doing so, among others, I received a bid from this contractor. Impressed, I called and was told that he was on a call, but could respond to me in two hours. I accepted this and processed the "hire".
Right on time, my doorbell rang and it was the repairman! He went to work immediately, explaining to me each step of his trouble shooting process. He determined a blown fuse within the furnace caused the shutdown. He proceeded to look for the cause for the "short" that blew the fuse.... explaining step-by-step.
After replacing the fuse, he went through a complete recycling of the system before reassemble of the furnace.
After having driven approximately twenty miles to my home, (on both a Sunday and New Years Day) spending an hour, or so, doing the repairs, I just knew, and expected a HUGE bill. He informed me that he would be sending me an invoice for forty-five dollars ($45)!!!
I reached in my wallet and handed him a $30 tip... he informed me that he would send the invoice for $15... I had to convince him that the $30 was a small gratuity, and I was still expecting to pay the full $45 invoice!!!
It is rare these days to find such capable, reliable and honest craftsmen. When we find such, we MUST continue to use them, and recommend them to others, so they can be assured reliable income.

I am a 77-year-old widow. Some companies think they can pull the wool over seniors eyes when it comes to price quotes thinking we are all senile. But I did my research and found great price differences. When I came across The Heating and Cooling Mechanical Contractor, I couldn't believe their very reasonable price. I got in touch with Sergio who sent out Joshua to evaluate my situation. They were prompt, I suggested a 40 gallon electric heater and got what I wanted despite the fact that they had to go out of their way. Both of them installed my water heater. They were quick and efficient in every aspect. Cleaned up after themselves and explained my questions. I had two other plumbing issues, both of them were also resolved for me. I am so happy I found these hard-working young men and would recommend them highly. I only wish they'd live around the corner. It's a long haul for them to come from Virginia to Maryland. I was also assured that if anything goes wrong, they'll be there to fix it.
